Unreached People Groups

“And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, ‘All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.’  Amen.”
-Matthew 28:18-20

“…And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.”
– Matthew 24:14

So, what are the ‘nations’? Is Scripture referring to the modern geo-political nation/states that appear on our maps and globes? No. The original New Testament word in these passages is, ‘ethne’, from which we get our English word ethnic. So, another way of stating our commission is that the gospel is to be preached, disciples are to be made, and churches are to be established among every ethnic group in the world. This is the great WHY of the church. The end will not come until this happens. This will happen! Every nation (ethno/linguistic group) on earth will be reached with the gospel and believers from each and every one of these groups will be present worshipping God in His presence!

God is growing Nall Memorial’s burden for the Unreached People Groups (UPGs) of this world. At the present, we are actively praying for His guidance as we seek His will for us concerning this vital Great Commission matter. We believe that in the providence of our Lord that He is leading our small church to adopt one of these UPGs so that we might be strategically used by Him to reach them. These are indeed tremendously exciting days to be a part of the Body of Christ!

“After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, saying, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!” All the angels stood around the throne and the elders and the four living creatures, and fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, saying:

“Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom,
Thanksgiving and honor and power and might,
Be to our God forever and ever. Amen.”’
